Job summary

Evolution Health Group in New York, NY is seeking an Art Director to translate marketing and branding strategies into innovative creative that resonates with target audiences. You will work closely with project managers and the creative director to meet client needs and deliver compelling visual concepts.

The role requires a four-year design-related degree, 2–4 years of Art Direction experience, and strong skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and UX‑driven design.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in advertising, communication design or visual arts.
• 2-4 years of Art Direction and strong digital design work experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical medical communications or advertising agency.
• Expert use of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, Adobe XD/Figma/Sketch (not all required).
• Robust design portfolio with digital, print, and web, plus UX understanding.
• Strong typographical, motion graphic and interactive design capabilities.
• In-depth understanding of HTML coding.
• Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Create design concepts for print and interactive and confidently explain the rationale.
• Design comps, initial concepts and final deliverables.
• Collaborate with the Creative Director and team to produce industry-leading work.
• Provide accurate time and cost estimates for each tactic.
• Understand marketing initiatives, positioning, and target audiences.
• Participate in planning/status meetings and update on progress.
