Job summary

Travis County Technology and Operations is seeking an Application Develop Analyst to join the Information Technology Division in Austin, TX. The role spans the full application development lifecycle using Azure DevOps, .NET, C#, Angular, JavaScript, YAML, SQL, Terraform and Agile practices.

The ideal candidate will have a CS/IS/related degree and at least one year of relevant experience, with strong SQL and RESTful API knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field and 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Alternatively, any combination of education and experience equivalent to stated requirements.
• Knowledge of software engineering and the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Designs, codes, tests, implements and maintains complex internally developed applications.
• Conducts application coding, testing and implementation for complex application.
• Works with customers and senior team members to collect and document requirements.
• Recommends on whether to develop new code, reuse existing code, or purchase software.
• Conducts application code review.
• Collects and reviews performance monitoring information.
• Performs product evaluation.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
