Job summary

RTX Enterprise Services in Puerto Rico seeks a Middleware Integration API-SOA Developer to design and build integration across Apigee, Axway, and Oracle SOA platforms. You will participate in production support rotations and deliver high-quality solutions for internal and external partners.

You will collaborate with BI analysts, project managers, and customers, ensuring reusable components and contributing to the API-SOA strategy.

Qualifications

• University degree in CS/IT or related discipline; 5+ years experience or equivalent.
• Advanced API/EAI/ESB/SOA knowledge and related tech.
• Experience with Apigee, Axway, or Oracle SOA; familiarity with ESB like Oracle SOA.
• Proficient with J2EE, XML, HTTP, JMS, SQL, XSLT/XQuery.
• Experience with log monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk) and Linux/Oracle DB.
• Experience with ServiceNow and source control (SVN).
• SAFe Agile trained or certified.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across tech and non-tech stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to API-SOA functional roadmap and strategy.
• Provide engineering input on architecture of API/EAI/SOA solutions.
• Design and transform integration streams (B2B-EDI, XML) with analysts and customers.
• Review designs and code for reusable modules and quality.
• Unit/integration/stress test interfaces with tools.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and on-call support in a 24x7 rotation.
