Job summary

Keeper Security is hiring a Software Development Test Engineer (SDET) focused on Android automation. This remote role involves designing and maintaining automated test frameworks for Keeper’s native Android applications, with emphasis on automation development, CI/CD integration, and Android-specific test infrastructure.

You will work with Android Engineering, QA and Product teams to expand automation coverage, improve testability and ensure new features are release-ready throughout the

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software testing, SDET or test automation with Android
• Strong hands-on experience with Android automation frameworks (Espresso, UI Automator, Appium)
• Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable automated test frameworks
• Experience with Android Studio, Gradle and Android build workflows
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Experience testing native Android apps on emulators and real devices
• Strong debugging, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate with engineers to improve testability and automation coverage

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks for native Android apps
• Build and extend automated test suites for functional, regression, integration and end-to-end coverage
• Develop automated tests using Espresso, UI Automator, Appium or similar frameworks
• Integrate Android test automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Bitrise or similar)
• Execute automated tests across emulators and physical devices
• Collaborate with Android engineers to improve testability and coverage
• Investigate test failures, identify root causes and improve stability
• Validate behavior across Android versions, devices and configurations
• Contribute to mobile automation architecture and testing best practices
• Evaluate and adopt new automation tools and technologies
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve test development and debugging
