BairesDev is seeking an Analytics Engineer to build modular, tested data models on a unified analytics platform. You will help teams work from a single version of the truth.

The role focuses on developing transformations with dbt, leveraging Microsoft Fabric, and collaborating with analysts to deliver metrics that align with business needs. This is a 100% remote position with competitive USD compensation and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in analytics engineering or data engineering.
• Proven expertise building modular, tested transformations with dbt.
• Hands-on experience with data warehouses and lakehouses in Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Git-based workflows.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop modular data models that transform raw data into analytics-ready tables.
• Apply version control and testing practices to analytics code.
• Build and maintain pipelines within a unified data platform.
• Document lineage and definitions so users understand what they are using.
• Improve model performance and refresh reliability.
