Job summary

211LA is seeking an Analytics Engineer to own and advance the next-generation data pipeline supporting our 2026/7 roadmap. You will develop robust ETL pipelines, maintain dbt models, and onboard data sources while applying AI/LLMs to improve output reliability.

The role emphasizes building scalable analytics infrastructure in a remote setup, with collaboration across the DAIS team and leadership. Strong SQL, Python, and AWS experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced SQL with analytics, window functions, partitioning, and tuning.
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering, including testing.
• Experience building modular dbt models with bronze/silver/gold layers.
• Experience deploying batch data jobs and orchestration.
• Familiarity with AWS data services and cloud environments.
• BI reporting with Tableau Cloud and data discovery practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, own, and maintain the Data team ETL pipeline.
• Build and maintain version-controlled dbt models across bronze/silver/gold.
• Support dataset discovery and onboarding of data sources.
• Deploy, schedule, and monitor data jobs; diagnose pipeline failures.
• Apply AI/LLMs thoughtfully to the data pipeline.
• Build and support BI reports for program managers and leadership.
• Organize code, tests, and documentation using version control.
