Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking an experienced RN to join its Ambulatory Triage team in a fully remote capacity, including training. The role focuses on assessing symptoms, guiding care, and coordinating appropriate services for adults across the West Region. Candidates should have 3–5 years of RN experience (ambulatory experience preferred; ED experience a plus) and an Indiana RN license (or NLC).

ASN is required; BSN preferred. Typical schedule is three full-time day shifts, 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Requires BLS certification through the AHA and an active RN license in Indiana or an active NLC RN license.
• ASN is required; BSN preferred; graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• 3–5 years of RN experience; ambulatory experience preferred; emergency department experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient symptoms and provide evidence-based care guidance.
• Coordinate levels of care and support primary care practices remotely.
• Serve as part of the Ambulatory Triage call center team in a remote setting.
• Work three full-time day shifts, 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., Monday–Friday.
• Maintain a safe work environment with reliable internet and strong communication.
