Job summary

Tampa General Hospital seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Ambulatory Hepatology clinic. The APRN or PA delivers nursing and medical services, helps promote health, and collaborates with a team to diagnose and manage liver-related conditions.

This full-time role covers ambulatory clinic duties with a supervising physician protocol, and a schedule of Monday to Friday. Florida licensure and acute-care board certification are required; GI/hepatology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Florida.
• Adult Gerontology Acute Care or Acute Care board certification required for APRNs.
• GI or hepatology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide ambulatory hepatology clinic coverage.
• Maintain an annual protocol with supervising physician.
• Diagnose and manage health care problems.
• Promote health and disease prevention.
