Job summary

Leidos is seeking a system administrator to support the ALMSS within the Defense Sector, Decision Advantage. The role focuses on user support for a critical USAF logistics system and requires readiness to travel to Warner Robins AFB, GA, with a remote work element 75% of the time.

The candidate will collaborate with government leads and engineers, providing training, policy tracking, and issue resolution across over 50 global locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years related experience or Master’s degree with 6+ years experience.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance required.
• Experience with ALMSS, Enterprise Solution-Supply (ES-S), Standard Base Supply System (SBSS).
• Experience with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) wholesale system.
• Experience with Air Force Stock Control System (D035).
• Experience with Air Force Master Item Identification Control System (D043).
• Experience with DLA Transaction Services SCM interface formats.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer and user support for the ALMSS system and related logistics functions.
• Assist in delivering daily technical/procedural support to on-site and remote users across multiple locations.
• Identify and resolve ALMSS logistics issues involving SCM functions and system interfaces.
• Provide information analysis support for the Program Management Office.
• Deliver initial and ongoing training for complex functions and new enhancements.
• Stay current with Air Force supply logistics policy changes affecting ALMSS.
• Collaborate with government ALMSS program manager, engineers, and logistics leads.
• Manage customer expectations and ensure timely problem resolution.
• Support program activities including ALMSS user issues, portfolio management, contingency processing, ICP transitions, and FIAR compliance.
• Communicate logistics issues clearly to operations and software development teams.
• Support modernization efforts of legacy ALMSS.
• Travel to customer site in Warner Robins GA within 24 hours notice.
