Job summary

Arcarithm in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Algorithm Software Engineer (E5) to contribute to Java-based software within the Missile Defense National Team for C2BMC, supporting design, development, testing and integration.

You will generate design artifacts, collaborate with Systems Engineering and Testing teams, participate in Agile planning, and help ensure mission success in a dynamic environment with opportunities for growth and remote-friendly schedules.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience or related training.
• Experience with Java application development or other object-oriented development.
• Basic experience designing and developing complex mathematical algorithms.
• Experience implementing mathematical algorithms in software.
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
• Knowledge or experience with full life-cycle development, Agile development, DevSecOps, and systems integration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Generate software design artifacts and implement Java-based software changes.
• Support software design and code reviews.
• Support software testing and resolve issues identified during testing.
• Participate in Agile planning and execution using established C2BMC processes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure mission success.
