Job summary

RLink Solutions LLC is seeking an AI/ML Research Engineer for a 3-month remote contract to support a client across multiple regions. Start is immediate with a 40-hour work week.

You will conduct research, train and evaluate models, and help develop AI evaluation pipelines. Strong Python and ML framework experience, plus solid collaboration across research, engineering, product, and operations, are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in AI, ML, CS or related technical field.
• 7+ years of professional experience with significant ML/research engineering experience.
• Strong experience with machine learning, model training, evaluation, or AI systems.
• Research experience in reinforcement learning, post-training, synthetic/agentic data, AI evaluation or model understanding.
• Strong Python/programming skills and experience with modern ML frameworks.
• Experience designing experiments and working with research-grade datasets and evaluation systems.
• Strong research, analytical, communication, andtechnical leadership skills.
• LinkedIn profile is mandatory and must be included on the resume.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and experiments on advanced AI and machine learning systems.
• Develop and evaluate models, datasets, benchmarks, and AI evaluation frameworks.
• Work on reinforcement learning, post-training, synthetic/agentic data, AI agents, and model evaluation.
• Build research prototypes and tooling using Python and modern ML frameworks.
• Analyze experimental results and turn findings into practical improvements.
• Collaborate with research, engineering, product, and operations teams.
• Contribute to technical documentation, research reports, publications, or open-source projects where applicable.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers or researchers.
