Job summary

Red Cell Partners, LLC. seeks a Member of Technical Staff, AI Researcher for a stealth startup. This remote role in the USA blends scientific inquiry with engineering execution to advance frontier AI through evaluation frameworks, RL environments, and feedback systems.

You will design experiments, build scalable prototypes, and collaborate across research, engineering, product, and operations to drive real-world AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in ML/AI, CS, data science or related field.
• Candidates with equivalent research/engineering output are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Design and build evaluation frameworks for frontier models and AI agents.
• Develop reward models, verifiers, graders, and other feedback systems.
• Design and run supervised fine-tuning and RL experiments to measure data effects.
• Define evaluations representative of real-world work and environments.
• Build systems to produce high-quality human data with data-quality signals.
• Translate research questions into lightweight, rigorous experiments with actionable findings.
• Prototype quickly and move methods into scalable productionQuality implementations.
• Collaborate across research, engineering, product, and operations on a shared roadmap.
• Contribute to benchmarks, open-source tools, and technical writing.
