Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Generalist (Macbook User) to support AI research training in a remote, contract-based role. The position requires a Macbook with Apple Silicon or M-series and offers 10–20 hours per week with immediate start.

The ideal candidate is pursuing or has recently completed a Master’s degree (or has 2–3 years of relevant experience plus a Bachelor's) and demonstrates strong online research and communication skills to gather, summarize, and provide feedback for AI model training

Qualifications

• Master's studies or 2–3 years of relevant experience + Bachelor's from a prestigious institution.
• Strong online research and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality research questions, answers, and evaluation materials to train advanced language models.
• Gather and clearly summarize information from diverse sources to support AI model training.
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI model outputs and training data quality.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and elevate model performance.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to ensure consistency and coverage across datasets.
