Simplilearn is seeking an experienced Data Science Instructor to train the next generation of professionals. You will deliver live online sessions, design learner-centered activities, and guide students toward employment in data science, ML and DL topics.

This part-time, remote role runs evenings and requires strong communication, mentorship, and the ability to connect theory to real-world applications. Cohorts run for several months with flexible prep time.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data science / ML / DL
• Working knowledge of Applied Data science with Python
• Good knowledge of Machine learning
• Good knowledge of Deep learning with keras and tensorflow
• A passion for teaching and an ability to explain complex technical concepts
• A history of choosing a path of integrity
• Excellent written and verbal skills

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, professional and inclusive learning environment
• Employ strategies for adult learners and connect content to real-world industry insights
• Manage regular communication with students to track progress and address concerns
• Provide individualized student support during synchronous class sessions and office hours
• Evaluate student performance based on course deliverables and rubrics
• Provide constructive feedback and assist in Performance Action Plans
• Serve as a role model and ambassador for the brand
• Promote student retention and a positive classroom culture
• Encourage teamwork and seek feedback for continuous improvement
