Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with AI voice models, score exchanges, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off, all remotely on your own schedule.

We are a 1099 contract opportunity offering fully remote work with flexible hours. You’ll help shape AI systems by providing evaluations to improve performance in real-world contexts, with payments weekly via ACH or PayPal.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Able to think on your feet and discuss realistic scenarios in conversation.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Comfortable making clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos to judge which follows the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, text errors, and audio-video mismatches.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, and writing a written explanation in English.
