Blacksmith Agency is seeking an SEO Account Strategist to own search strategies for a portfolio of B2B and growing-brand clients. You’ll shape technical roadmaps, set content priorities, and drive the ranking story in both AI search and traditional results.

You’ll lead technical audits, collaborate with writers and AI tools, and coordinate multi-location SEO. Remote role across Canada, the US, or Africa, with clear client-facing communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: audits, fixes, and improvements.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across multiple clients.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO for client books: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, architecture.
• Define keyword strategy and content priorities with writers and AI drafts.
• Improve visibility in AI search and traditional organic results.
• Manage links, local search, and multi-location SEO as needed.
• Report in GA4 and Search Console; deliver quarterly client roadmaps.
