Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking a Finance Expert to evaluate AI-generated financial analyses on real corporate scenarios, check the valuation assumptions and the accounting behind them, and write the judgments that teach models what defensible finance work looks like.

You’ll apply a professional FP&A mindset to stress-test three-statement linkages, trace the reasoning, and craft honest, CFO-ready conclusions. This is a flexible, remote role with project-based work and varying task difficulty.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or strategic finance.
• Fluency with three-statement modeling, DCF, and the accounting behind them.
• Ability to write clear, defensible analyses.
• No degree required; focus on skills.

Responsibilities

• Stress-test AI-built models on real corporate scenarios: three-statement linkages, DCF assumptions, and working-capital logic.
• Trace the reasoning to expose plugged numbers, broken drivers, and conclusions the model's own math doesn't support.
• Write defensible analyses when the model falls short: honest assumptions, clear drivers, and a CFO-facing figure.
