Job summary

CodePath is seeking a Grant Writer to join the Philanthropy Partnerships team. You will translate program data, student outcomes, and strategy into national foundation and corporate proposals and reports. Location: Remote (US). Role Type: Full-Time Contractor (40 hours/week).

Duration: 9-month contract. Reports To: Sr. Manager, Development Operations. You will build reusable narratives and AI-enabled workflows, collaborating with Finance, Delivery, Higher Education, and Data to scale fundraising

Qualifications

5–7 years writing for institutional and corporate funders — proposals, letters of inquiry, and funder reports.
You build with AI, you don't just write with it.
You do your own data synthesis.
You collaborate across functions and come in curious.
You work at pace.
Exceptional writing and editing, with attention to detail while maintaining a strategic perspective.

Responsibilities

Lead or support major grant proposals and letters of inquiry from prospecting to submission.
Translate mission, programs, and impact into funder-facing narratives.
Synthesize program data into funder briefs, proposals, and assets.
Build reusable narrative assets and AI-enabled workflows for the team.
Collaborate with Finance, Delivery, Higher Education, and Data to gather data and stories.
Develop proposal templates and writing frameworks for repeatable use.
Use AI tools to improve proposals and reporting; ensure CodePath voice.
Keep internal grant systems and calendars up to date.
