FedWriters, Inc. is seeking a Digital Librarian / Metadata Lead to design and run intake, indexing, and metadata workflows for a USACE bibliographic project. You’ll build a searchable library, set standards, and quality-check AI-assisted tools.

This is hands-on collection building with cross-team collaboration across time zones. The role emphasizes developing metadata conventions, maintaining Zotero-based databases, and coordinating with fisheries biology experts to ensure accurate

Qualifications

Must lead literature intake, deduplication, and version control.
Develop and apply metadata standards and indexing conventions.
Experience building screened literature databases (e.g., Zotero).
Configure and validate AI-assisted intake tools; flag edge cases.

Responsibilities

Lead transfer and intake of literature records with deduplication and version control.
Develop metadata standards, vocabularies, and indexing conventions for scientific literature.
Build and maintain the screened literature database and reference library (e.g., Zotero).
