Job summary

Harnham, a leading data & AI recruitment specialist, partners with a fintech innovator to define an AI-powered analytics architecture. The AI Architect will design a scalable AI context layer, build a proof of concept, and establish evaluation frameworks with internal data and engineering teams.

You will define governance for metadata, metrics, and business context, while delivering a durable, scalable solution for ongoing AI initiatives and trusted insights.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing semantic or metrics layers and governed data platforms.
• Experience with modern cloud data environments and analytics architectures.
• Proven track record building AI/LLM-based solutions interfacing with structured business data.
• Strong knowledge of dbt and data transformation best practices.
• Experience defining evaluation methodologies for AI systems.
• Ability to communicate architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience delivering POCS, frameworks, or platform designs in collaborative environments.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, ELT tooling, analytics platforms, and AI assistants.

Responsibilities

• Design a target-state AI context and semantic layer architecture.
• Create a working proof of concept with internal data and engineering teams.
• Define governance for business context, metadata, and metrics, including version control.
• Develop an evaluation framework to measure AI answer quality and reliability.
• Advise on integrating AI assistants with enterprise data and contextual sources.
• Establish monitoring, drift detection, and continuous improvement processes.
• Help build a scalable, maintainable AI and analytics foundation for future needs.
• Produce documentation and recommendations to enable long-term adoption.
