Job summary

MediaNews Group is seeking a Project Manager to guide agile product development, balancing scope, schedule, and cost while keeping stakeholders informed. You will lead a scrum team, manage risks, and ensure SDLC adherence in a fast-paced digital media environment.

This remote role requires residence in MA and a track record of agile delivery, strong facilitation skills, and experience with Jira/Trello/Asana. You’ll partner with product owners and PMO to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in agile project management.
• Experience in digital media is strongly preferred.
• Strong stakeholder communication and facilitation skills.
• PMP or CSM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply agile and SDLC practices to initiatives from idea to launch.
• Lead all aspects of the project including planning, execution, delivery, and quality.
• Maintain accountability for project delivery to PMO, business owner, and stakeholders.
• Create initial project documentation: assumptions, risks, schedules, and change control.
• Report progress and risks; resolve blockers to completion.
