Job summary

Grex Defense, Inc. is standing up our Huntsville, Alabama facility and seeking a Program Procurement Lead to own purchasing and inventory for the program from requisition through closeout.

You will establish the company’s procurement and material-management function and work with program management, engineering, finance, security, and IT. You will plan and execute program procurement, including long-lead items, supplier schedules, and quote evaluation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field with 5+ years procurement experience in aerospace/defense
• Experience with FAR DFARS and clause flow-down is preferred
• Knowledge of ITAR/EAR considerations for foreign suppliers beneficial

Responsibilities

• Own purchasing and inventory end-to-end for the program from requisition through closeout
• Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate quotes; issue purchase orders and subcontracts
• Manage supplier base, including long-lead items and schedules tied to program plan
• Flow down FAR/DFARS requirements to suppliers; ensure compliance and export controls
• Configure and run procurement in Unanet; manage three-way match and approvals
• Support proposals with supplier quotes and pricing data for customer reviews
