OpenTrain AI, Inc. seeks a remote aerospace engineering contractor to develop and assess technical scenarios, reference answers, and reviews that test AI model judgment. The role requires aerospace expertise, strong written communication, and the ability to document engineering decisions.

Work is fully remote with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week and payment between $100 and $130 per hour. A degree in aerospace engineering or related field is required.

Qualifications

• A degree in aerospace engineering or closely related field.
• Depth in at least one area such as aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, or guidance, navigation, and control.
• Clear written English and ability to document engineering decisions.
• Experience with flight test or wind tunnel programs; familiarity with FAA/EASA standards.

Responsabilités

• Create aerospace scenarios covering requirements through design review.
• Create reference answers explaining engineering reasoning.
• Rate model outputs for technical accuracy and standards compliance.
• Identify designs that would fail in flight.
