Job summary

Analytical Mechanics Associates (AMA) is seeking two part-time interns to support distributed sensing flight test activities for NASA Langley’s Aeronautics Systems Engineering Branch. This remote internship offers 5–10 hours per week from September through December.

You will assist in evaluating radar and vision detection and tracking algorithms, collect and label radar and vision data, and support software development and documentation of procedures and findings.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Engineering or Computer Science fields.
• Demonstrated experience in sensor-based data collection.
• Strong communications skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Support flight experiments testing algorithms through data collection.
• Label collected data including radar and vision data.
• Support software development activities related to distributed testing.
• Documentation of procedures, experiments and findings.
