Job summary

Monte Nido & Affiliates, LLC seeks a Remote Primary Therapist for our Adolescent Virtual Program on the East Coast. This licensed professional will provide individual, group, and family therapy to adolescents, coordinating with families and outpatient providers.

Responsibilities include pre-certification liaison with insurers, discharge planning, therapeutic meal support, and modeling a healthy relationship with food.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in clinical counseling or related discipline.
• State license in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC).
• Experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is helpful.
• Knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion practices.

Responsibilities

• Providing individual, group, and family therapy.
• Serving as liaison with families and outpatient providers.
• Interact with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management.
• Participating in discharge and aftercare planning.
• Therapeutic meal support, while modeling a healthy relationship with food.
• Provides safe, empathetic, and affirming care for each client and their unique circumstance based on the clients' intersecting identities.
