Labela is seeking U.S.-based Addiction Psychiatrists at multiple career stages for high-level clinical consulting. You will validate, refine, and audit the clinical reasoning of frontier AI models, serving as a subject matter expert to improve safety and accuracy at scale.

This 100% remote role offers flexible, project-based hours and runs from July 30 to August 31, 2026, with California-focused cohort priority while remaining fully remote across the United States.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of postgraduate clinical training in addiction psychiatry or related field.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Ability to provide concise, technical feedback on complex clinical cases.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Logic Auditing: Review and refine AI-generated diagnostic and treatment strategies to ensure alignment with APA/ASAM standards.
• High-Complexity Validation: Provide expert-level ground truth for intricate addiction and psychiatric case presentations, diagnostic formulation, and risk assessment.
• Safety Oversight: Identify clinical inaccuracies or hallucinations in AI outputs that could impact patient safety or triage decisions.
• Strategic Consulting: Advise on the development of AI-driven clinical decision support tools for addiction and psychiatric care.
