Job summary

Humana is seeking an Actuary, Pricing to drive pricing strategies for Medicare Advantage products. You will establish pricing assumptions, prepare bids, and support regulatory filings while advising on cost impacts of new products and benefits.

You will report to the Director, Actuarial Pricing and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver insights and actionable recommendations. This remote role emphasizes analytical judgment and strategic thinking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• FSA or ASA credential plus relevant advanced degree and/or other professional designations.
• MAAA credential.
• Ability to articulate ideas clearly in writing and speaking.
• Experience in pricing, modeling, rate filings, or related functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute pricing strategies for Medicare Advantage products.
• Establish pricing assumptions and prepare and submit bids.
• Support regulatory rate filings and certifications; implement rates, new plans, and benefit changes.
• Advise Product Development on cost impact of new products and benefits; maintain pricing tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex actuarial challenges.
