Job summary

Ince-USA in Wisconsin seeks an entry-level Acoustician to assist in design and analysis of room acoustics, mechanical noise control, and environmental sound review. You'll work with senior consultants and contribute to documentation from day one.

You'll gain hands-on experience across projects, collaborate with architects and engineers, and have opportunities to pursue licensure while developing technical skills in acoustical modeling and testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in acoustics, physics, engineering, architecture or related field.
• Interest in architecture, building design, or performance environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Familiarity with drafting tools (Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD) preferred.
• Familiarity with acoustical modeling software such as EASE or Odeon, or environmental sound software.

Responsibilities

• Assist acoustical calculations and modeling for various project types.
• Support development of sketches, modeling, and reports under senior staff.
• Conduct acoustical testing and field measurements in buildings.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to coordinate solutions.
• Participate in site visits, project meetings, and documentation.
