Job summary

Central Garden & Pet is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist- Deductions to join our ITC team. This role focuses on resolving customer deductions, processing credit memos, and supporting billing and payment issues as needed in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in high-volume AR with deduction resolution, strong Excel skills, and ERP experience. Training occurs onsite before WFH flexibility is offered, with a comprehensive benefits package included.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of high-volume Accounts Receivable and deduction resolution experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook).
• Experience with ERP systems and basic accounting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Verify the validity of invoicing discrepancies by researching customer claims and coordinating with internal departments.
• Dispute invalid deductions and follow up with customers to obtain documentation or repayment.
• Provide regular status updates to management and participate in monthly aging reviews.
• Ensure claims are raised correctly for deductions and review open claims weekly.
• Support internal and external audit requirements and attend team meetings.
