Qualifications

• Earned master’s degree in accounting; CPA. Earned doctorate and applied professional experience in accounting preferred.
• Evidence of promise or experience demonstrating adequate training, depth of knowledge in accounting, and capacity to undertake high-quality teaching and service.
• Earned doctorate in a related discipline (Business, Economics, Math, Statistics, Quantitative Research related field).
• Qualitative or quantitative research experience. At least 3 years of graduate-level teaching experience.
• Experience working with adult, non-traditional, post-traditional learners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Foster a supportive and welcoming learning environment for adult learners.
• Prioritize student learning, achievement, and timely feedback.
• Maintain strong communication with students and respond promptly to inquiries.
• Ensure academic integrity and uphold university policies.
• Collaborate with academic support teams to enhance student experience.
• Review and provide feedback on doctoral research projects and defenses (Doctoral Lead Faculty).
• Oversee and prepare students for their preliminary and final oral defenses (Doctoral Lead Faculty).
• Support student IRB applications and research alignment (Doctoral Lead Faculty).
• Collaborates with students' doctoral research committees to create unified direction for the students.
