Crystal Equation Corporation is seeking an Accounting Manager V to join the Corporate Accounting team remotely. This role requires full ownership, limited direction, and a strong accounting background with business acumen.

You will drive month-end close, design scalable accounting processes, and partner with product, engineering, legal, and tax teams worldwide to support product launches and reporting with GAAP compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Advanced ability to understand system processes.
• 10+ years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Experience leveraging AI to improve efficiency.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft tools.
• Ability to work independently as an individual contributor.
• Experience with ASC 606.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end accounting close and journal entries.
• Design scalable accounting technologies and controls.
• Partner with product teams on product launches and contracts.
• Maintain relationships with cross-functional teams globally.
• Ensure finance requirements are delivered by product and engineering teams.
• Assess risks and implement process improvements.
• Update accounting policies to align with GAAP.
• Drive month-end close and reconcile analyses.
• Implement scalable month-end and quarter-end processes.
