Job summary

Prolific is seeking Accountant Subject Matter Experts to join its Expert Network to train and evaluate AI models using professional accounting insight. If you have an accounting background, we’ll ask you to complete a brief 10–15 minute test to assess your skills and suitability for AI tasks.

If successful, you’ll be invited to join Prolific’s Accounting Projects as a paid participant, where you’ll be paid to train and evaluate models.

Qualifications

• Accounting background with a degree, professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIMA), or relevant accounting experience.
• Attention to detail to review complex documents and catch inaccuracies.
• Strong critical thinking to apply logical, fact-based reasoning.
• Reliable to work independently on ad hoc, remote assignments.
• Must have a PayPal account to receive payments.

Responsibilities

• Document Evaluation: review financial statements, audit reports, and filings to ensure data integrity.
• AI Model Guidance: answer questions based on documents to help models understand language.
• Fact-checking & validation: ensure outputs align with standards and accounting frameworks.
• Knowledge Sharing: provide expert feedback bridging human expertise and ML.
