Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to support Eastern/Central Time Zones. You will manage an assigned book of business, retain accounts, and coordinate day-to-day client service.

The role requires 3+ years in account management (or 5+ years in insurance) and an active P&C license; CIC or equivalent is preferred. You will lead a team, handle policy administration, billing, claims, renewals, and data accuracy in agency systems.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license is required.
• 3+ years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Professional designation CIC or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business and ensure account retention.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and data accuracy.
