Job summary

Centene Corp. is seeking a Remote Psychologist Reviewer to authorize, direct and monitor care for behavioral health and ABA cases.

The role requires an active psychologist license in supported states and BCBA preferred, with responsibilities spanning peer reviews, practitioner education, and clinical discussions with leadership. Ideal candidates hold a PhD or PsyD, have 2+ years in behavioral health, and are comfortable working remotely with flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• PhD required with a psychologist license (PhD or PsyD) on hire.
• 2+ years of behavioral health experience required.
• Knowledge of psychological tests and testing procedures, diagnostic evaluations and evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct peer reviews with psychologists, behavioral health therapists and/or BCBA for outpatient services and/or psychological testing requests.
• Interact with network practitioners to provide education on best practice models and utilization management processes.
• Discuss clinical authorization questions with the Medical Director or designee.
• Respond to state, provider, and member complaints related to psych testing or other review needs.
• Facilitate outpatient rounds offering clinical input and oversight related to outpatient services.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
