Jobot is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Trial Attorney to work remotely from the Florida region (Orlando/Tampa/Central FL area). The role focuses on third-party liability defense and insurance litigation, with a base pay range of $160,000 to $190,000 per year and full benefits.

The successful candidate will manage a high-volume remote caseload, provide expert defense strategies, and collaborate with a support team to serve clients nationwide.

Qualifications

• JD required with license to practice in Florida.
• 8+ years in insurance defense, focusing on liability law and 3rd party defense.
• Proven track record in defending clients in insurance cases.
• Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Strong research and analytical abilities; able to interpret complex documents.
• Independent remote work capability with high-volume caseloads.
• Experience across General Liability, Product Liability, and related claims.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in a broad range of insurance defense matters.
• Provide expert legal advice on complex liability issues.
• Develop and implement effective defense strategies.
• Negotiate settlements favorable to clients.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support strategy.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals and staff to deliver quality services.
• Keep clients informed of case progress and risks.
• Stay current on laws and trends in insurance defense.
