Job summary

Shields Health Solutions seeks a Senior Director of 340B Strategy to partner with health systems in optimizing 340B programs through strategic advisory, operations, data insights, and technology solutions. You will lead regional 340B initiatives and guide customers toward greater savings and compliant performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Six or more years of direct 340B program management or 340B consulting experience.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Entrepreneurial attitude with a willingness to roll up sleeves, work alongside team members, and create value quickly.
• Highly motivated, results-driven professional who thrives in a team-oriented environment.
• Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to lead regional 340B teams, motivate team members, and serve as the subject matter expert for health system counterparts.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with staff, physicians, patients, executives, and colleagues at all levels.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to navigate medication management software, healthcare billing systems, electronic medical records, 340B third-party administrators, pharmacy management and dispensing systems, and Microsoft applications.
• Ability to take a data-driven approach and distill complex subjects into structured frameworks and actionable plans.
• Experience with 340B TPA systems.
• Exposure to 340B from covered entity, pharmacy, and TPA perspectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead 340B strategy across regions based on statutes and guidelines.
• Monitor 340B trends and communicate impacts to partners.
• Analyze 340B opportunities including contract pharmacy expansion.
• Develop roadmaps and project plans for 340B initiatives.
• Drive implementation and track execution of 340B strategies.
• Set annual 340B targets and increase eligible patients and savings.
• Manage provider-based clinic conversions and CDTM programs.
• Perform weekly audits of non-340B prescriptions and identify opportunities.
• Develop 340B program policies, procedures, and KPI reporting.
