Job summary

Mr. Handyman of Northern Pittsburgh, South Hills, Moon is seeking a Remodeling Specialist to perform carpentry, drywall, plumbing, and electrical repairs in homes and commercial properties.

You will communicate clearly with customers, set expectations, and deliver exceptional results. The role requires 2+ years in residential remodeling (5–7 years preferred), a valid driver's license, and a willingness to undergo background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential remodeling or trades (5–7 years preferred).
• Must have and/or own day-to-day tools of the trade.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Experience with technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry, drywall, plumbing, and electrical repairs in homes and commercial properties.

Standards: We set the bar high and expect nothing less. Our Remodeling Professionals must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in residential remodeling or the trades industry, with 5-7 years preferred. You must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be willing to submit to a background and drug screening. A strong multi-skill background and experience with technology are highly desirable. A diverse skill set and experience with technology are highly advantageous.

Hours:

• Full-Time
• Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 6pm
• Saturday's are Optional

Some Requirements and Other Stuff

• 2 years of experience in residential remodeling or trades industry (5-7 years preferred)
• Able to perform carpentry, drywall, plumbing, and electrical repairs in homes and commercial properties. Commercial experience is a plus
• Must be comfortable with heights and ladders (as high up as 40 feet)
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Pass a background check and drug screening
• Experience with Technology is a big plus
• Must have some experience with exterior repairs such as siding, soffit, and fascia repairs as well
• Complete small to medium maintenance/repairs and mid-size home improvement projects
• Strong 'multi-skill' background desired. Must have/own 'day-to-day' tools of the trade.
• Deliver a consistent & remarkably better customer experience when working in their home.
• Communicate with customers about scope of work, and cost estimates, and manage expectations.
• Leave customers thrilled with your current work, and open doors to future work.
• Be able to work independently and a problem solver.
