Job summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. is seeking a Reman laborer to build material from a plant manager's list and affix labels to lumber packs. This full-time position includes a full benefits package and competitive pay.

You will observe safety rules, stack products, and maintain clean and organized work areas in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, marking cutting lines, recording operations, disposing waste, and operating sawing and drying equipment to ensure

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• High School diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe safety requirements and wear PPE as required.
• Stack lumber and wood products accurately.
• Keep reman area clean and organized.
• Load and unload lumber from conveyors.
• Measure and mark cutting lines on lumber and finished goods.
• Maintain records of operations and inventory.
• Dispose of waste materials properly after tasks.
• Sort lumber by sizes and grades for easy identification.
• Operate sawing equipment for precise cuts.
• Use dry kilns and other equipment to dry lumber.
