Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Disassembly I in Booneville, MS. You will work in a safety-conscious environment, disassembling engines and components, and may cross-train into Cleaning 1, Assembly 1, and Logistics 1. Use hand and power tools, sometimes overhead hoists, and perform data entry as part of the production team.

Expected to wear PPE, work with a team, and operate with minimal supervision. Starting pay is $17.05 per hour with overtime potential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Basic computer experience (ability to read standard work documents and enter data)
• Read/write and interpret documents.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble engines and/or components in a fast-paced, safety- and quality-focused environment.
• Cross training into other Salary Grade 1 positions such as Cleaning 1, Assembly 1, and Logistics 1 as needed.
• Use various tooling such as hand and power tools.
• May use overhead hoist to move large components.
• May require respirator use for certain tasks.
• Move parts using pallet jacks, overhead cranes, or electric pallet jacks.
• Perform material handling and data entry in production.
