Job summary

Uintah Engineering & Land Surveying (UELS) is seeking a Crew Chief / Party Chief / Surveyor who will relocate to the field and work primarily in the office as needed. The role involves staking and surveying land, with work in oil & gas sectors, using Trimble GPS systems.

The position offers a direct-hire or W2 arrangement, with starting pay based on experience. Pre-employment drug testing and a valid driver’s license are required. Relocation support is provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months as Survey Assistant or equivalent.
• 2+ years with Trimble GPS surveying, boundary staking, stake corners, and well-location staking.
• Experience in cadastral surveying for oil & gas and construction staking.

Responsibilities

• Stake well locations.
• Survey section corners and establish section corners.
• Stake access roads and right-of-ways (including slope staking and well location pads).
• Stake pipelines and right-of-ways.
• Perform topographic surveys and cross-sections.
