Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal/Senior Principal Facilities Engineer to design and oversee facility projects at the Clearfield, Utah location. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or Architecture with 5 years’ experience in facility engineering, or 3 years’ experience and MS Degree in architecture.
• Must have a background in Architecture specifically in industrial environments
• Must have the ability to obtain a US Government Secret Security Clearance
• Must have the ability to obtain required Program Accesses
• Preferred: Current Architectural License or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
• Active US Government Secret Security Clearance would be a plus

Responsibilities

• Apply extensive technical expertise across related disciplines.
• Communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings.
• Develop technical solutions to complex problems requiring ingenuity and creativity.
• Work with latitude and determine technical objectives of assignment.
• Coordinate the creation of federated Revit/BIM models including architectural, mechanical, structural, and electrical disciplines.
• Assist/teach coworkers in understanding Revit methods/best practices.
• Create diagrams and presentations to support design decisions during reviews for upper management.
• Oversee equipment installation and commissioning to ensure all specifications are met.
