This role ensures residents have reasonable opportunities to practice their faith in accordance with facility policies and applicable federal requirements/standards
The Religious Services Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for religious accommodations and coordinates with community faith leaders, volunteers, facility leadership, and government personnel to support diverse religious practices while maintaining facility safety, security, and operational integrity.
This position reports directly to the Processing Operations Director and works collaboratively with facility leadership, case management, behavioral health, security, and medical staff to ensure religious services are delivered respectfully and in compliance with contractual requirements.

U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident.
Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Two (2) years of experience coordinating religious services, faith-based programming, chaplaincy support, community outreach, or human services. Knowledge of diverse religious traditions and practices.
Ability to successfully complete and maintain all government-required credentialing, including:
Ability to comply with all federal security, confidentiality, and operational protocols while working within a government facility.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work effectively and respectfully with individuals from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds.
Strong organizational, time management, and documentation skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and demonstrate professionalism in sensitive situations.
Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to stand, walk, and conduct facility rounds for extended periods (8-12 hours per shift)
Ability to lift and move supplies up to 50lbs
Ability to respond quickly to emergencies throughout the facility
Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments
Ability to review documentation, reports, and operational records with attention to detail.
Ability to sit for extended periods for administrative tasks and documentation
Visual acuity for document review and computer work.
Auditory ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, volunteers, and government personnel.
