The Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court Services Unit is seeking apart-time Bilingual Relief Worker (English/Spanish) to supplement case coverage of full-time counselors for the Detention Diversion Program (DDP). This employee closely monitors the youth's behavior at home and in the community, primarily on weekends, to ensure compliance with the Court's rules and regulations. Juvenile offenders are a diverse group who may have parents with limited English skills.

The Detention Diversion Program (DDP) serves as an alternative to secure detention for some juvenile offenders. Instead of being detained at the Northern Virginia Juvenile Detention Center while awaiting a detention hearing, youths may be allowed to return home with their parents/guardians under court order.
