About the Role:

Happy Tails Holistic Veterinary Care in Roswell, GA is looking for a passionate and skilled Relief Veterinarian to join our team on a flexible basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to practice integrative, whole-body medicine in a warm and welcoming environment that truly puts pets first. The ideal candidate has training and experience in veterinary acupuncture and a working knowledge of Chinese herbal therapy, with a strong interest and willingness to continue expanding their skill set in integrative modalities. Candidates should be familiar (with additional training if necessary) in performing routine surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, dental procedures, and mass removals. Experience with a broader range of surgical procedures—whether soft tissue or more advanced interventions—is highly valued, though mentorship and growth in these areas can be supported. Strong diagnostic, medical, and case management skills are expected.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited institution

• Strong client communication and bedside manner skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to a new clinical environment
• DEA license preferred
• Willingness to embrace a holistic approach to veterinary care
