Job summary

Ranger Energy Services, LLC seeks a Relief Operator I to support our on-site oilfield operations. You will lead a small crew, rig up/down safely, and document work performed while ensuring efficient use of materials and time.

The role reports to the Rig Manager and involves coordinating with welders and floor hands to meet client contracts. You will need a High School diploma or GED, 1–2 years of floor hand and derrick hand experience, and strong communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years floor hand experience.
• 1–2 years derrick hand experience.
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the rig crew through rigging up and down safely and document post-rig inspections.
• Operate rig controls to pull and lay down rods, tubing and casing.
• Direct and mentor SSE employees and floor hands daily.
• Prepare rig tickets with accurate pricing and hours and manage crew workloads.
• Drive the crew truck when needed.
• Perform services on wells as part of a 3/5-person crew.
• Assist Rig Manager in varied tasks around the rig.
