Dismas Charities, Inc. in Mississippi is seeking an entry-level Resident Monitor to safeguard residents and campus property. The role focuses on custody, security, and maintaining accountability while following all rules and procedures.

You will support counselors, monitor daily operations, perform inspections, and assist with program services. The position is relief-based, requires 20-25 hours per week, and shifts include mornings, afternoons, and nights.

Qualifications

• Possess a High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of paid work experience.

Responsabilités

• Monitors Residents – observes, documents, and ensures accountability of residents while in the facility and community; manages money, subsistence, medications, mail, visitors, and calls.
• Assists with managing program services – supports counselors with resident programming and monitoring equipment.
• Monitors Facility – conducts inspections to maintain health, safety, and accountability; ensures cleanliness and sanitation.
• Follows procedures – adheres to SOPs, safety drills, and life-safety rules.
• Work Schedule – covers shifts as needed, may be reassigned, attends required meetings.
• Sanitation – housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, and trash.
• Other – duties may be assigned by the Director per contract requirements.
