Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Certified Immunizer.
• Strong Organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy department.
• Performs quality assurance to ensure technically accurate prescriptions.
• Reports dispensing incidents promptly per company guidelines.
• Plans and accomplishes tasks using experience and judgment.
• Ensures outstanding customer service by all employees.
• Manages the pharmacy staff with a positive, team-oriented approach.
• Maintains professional relationships with doctors and health professionals.
• Manages pharmacy inventory for max turns while meeting customer needs.
• Oversees order transmission and receipt to wholesalers and suppliers.
• Ensures prescription files and records comply with state and federal guidelines.
• Works with Pharmacy Director to meet budgeted sales.
• Participates in initiatives to increase profitability.
• Keeps patient information confidential per HIPAA.
• Complies with drug laws and HAC policies.
• Ensures in-store technology is used to maximize ROI.
• Maintains clean and professional environment.
• Adheres to Loss Prevention policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
