Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Relief Pharmacist to support patient care and education. This role requires a Pharmacist license, PharmD/BS, and immunization certification, with responsibilities across fill prescriptions, patient relations, and supporting pharmacy operations.

You will mentor technicians, uphold Meijer policies, and ensure compliance with state and federal laws. The position offers the chance to contribute to Meijer’s community-minded, patient-centered pharmacy

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
• Licensed in the state of practice.
• Immunization certification required (Indiana).
• Retail/community pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions accurately and safely.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members, and leadership.
• In absence of pharmacist in charge, oversee pharmacy operations.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
