Job summary

Thrifty White Pharmacy in Clear Lake, IA is seeking a Relief Pharmacist to join our patient-focused pharmacy team. You will dispense medications, counsel patients, and support clinical services while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.

You will lead by example, help enroll patients in Ready Refill and Medication Synchronization programs, and develop relationships with nursing homes and LTC partners in the region.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy license required or ability to obtain without federal sanctions.
• PharmD or MTM Certification with proof of completion from an ACPE program.
• Current Immunization Certification and CPR Certification.
• NPI Number.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and build loyalty with patients.
• Promote Thrifty White programs such as Ready Refill and Medication Synchronization.
• Lead the team by coaching and maintaining high patient service standards.
• Structure workflow for efficient prescription filling and patient counseling.
• Develop LTC business with nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
• Identify LTC and Specialty opportunities and communicate with Marketing.
• Dispense medications and provide clinical pharmacy services.

A few of the primary responsibilities include:

• Providing excellent customer service to customers by building loyalty and repeat business.
• Champions Thrifty White programs to patients such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization and HealthyPackRx and assists with enrolling patients.
• Leads team by modeling, coaching, and maintaining high standards in patient service.
• Structures and organizes workflow and systems for efficient prescription filling, patient counseling, and providing clinical services.
• Develops and follows up on long term care (LTC) business through immediate communication and attention to the needs of the nursing homes, group homes and assisted living residences.
• Identifies Long Term Care and Specialty business and communicates opportunities with Marketers.
• Dispenses medications, related supplies, and provides all clinical pharmacy services.
