Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. is seeking Relief Operators for our Wisconsin facility. You will support safety, quality, maintenance, sanitation and administrative tasks while following strict GMP and EH&S guidelines.

You will participate in cross-training and development plans to qualify for multiple job functions. The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with potential Saturdays based on demand. Starting at $18.50 per hour, the 90-day rate increases to $23.66 plus a $0.50 shift differential

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
SAP software experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Works in functional areas within the facility.
Engaged in problem solving to improve safety, quality, yields and productivity.
Participates in safety, quality and continuous improvement teams.
Maintains safety and quality ownership with a sense of urgency.
Adheres to Environmental, Health, and Safety programs and procedures.
Operates and sets up equipment for proper product manufacture.
Monitors process control and reports variations to supervisors.
Performs quality monitoring and maintains documentation.
Daily cleaning and housekeeping; strict GMP adherence.
Conducts preventative maintenance and signs off on tasks.
Identifies mechanical issues and calls maintenance when needed.
Trained and signed off to operate Filler and Retorts as a minimum qualification.
